The Tea Shop Chat: #0001 Podcast with Bridget White Kumar

Bridget White-Kumar is renowned chef and an award-winning author. Her recipes are passed around by top chefs at The Oberoi and Tag Group of hotels. She also travels to various 5 star hotels teaching Anglo Indian cuisine.

I get to sit with her and learn more about her life, growing up pre-independence and how it shaped her. Also, her story is very inspiring in how she manages to “just do” her hobby and it happens to be a pretty good business.

The best part is that her hobby is spreading Anglo cuisine and getting it the exposure. She’s doing her part to document history and culture – especially in areas of food.

About The Tea Shop Podcast

Imagine two friends, or two random Anglos, meeting up at the corner tea shop. They both order tea, and perhaps a bajji. They start talking, getting to know each other. That's what I try to capture. Natural conversation. Getting to know Anglos around the world.

Want to chat? Let me know. I'd love to.
