Dorothy has a unique perspective and story. Born just after the partition, her life was different in many ways but also very similar to the Anglos on the other side of the new line that separated Pakistan and India.
She’s done the important work of collecting stories and documenting them. Without people like her, history would be incomplete.
Imagine two friends, or two random Anglos, meeting up at the corner tea shop. They both order tea, and perhaps a bajji. They start talking, getting to know each other. That's what I try to capture. Natural conversation. Getting to know Anglos around the world.
